Personality:
Wilson's personality is quite diverse depending on who he is with and what the situation is. When with his friends and people he trusts, he is calm, kind, friendly, loves a good laugh, and can put up with other's annoying ways. Around those he doesn't trust and enemies, though, he is hateful, cold, and isn't afraid to lash out. Due to random people's harsh treatment of him in the past, Wilson sometimes has trouble trusting people he doesn't know. He also has gerontophobia (a fear of the elderly) due to his grandparents' inhumane abuse. Still, Wilson's morality is strong and he would never hurt an innocent person on purpose.
Story:
Life for Wilson was a harsh story from the very beginning. He never knew his biological parents. When he was an infant, a young couple found him crying in a trash littered alley on Beggar's Avenue. Believing a homeless person had abandoned him, the couple, an otter man and a badger woman, decided to take him in.
Despite knowing they were not his biological parents, Wilson loved his foster parents more than anyone. They treated him with so much kindness he could never ask for more. His father taught him his capoeira skills and his mom encouraged him in his gymnastics classes. Early in life, Wilson was a loved, thriving child.
Sadly, Wilson's childhood took a dark turn when his mom, who had diabetes, slipped into a coma while driving. This resulted in a crash that took her life. Wilson and his father were despondent, but did their best to comfort each other after the heartbreaking loss. However, things only got worse for Wilson when all of Lotebirma's law enforcement was wiped out, allowing three criminal gangs to overrun the whole county. Including, the notorious hate group, the Natural Order. As the Natural Order's crimes increased, their discriminatory beliefs began to spread like wildfire. Wilson and his father became targets of hatred and crime. One day, Wilson's father was brutally attacked by members of the Order and left with a traumatic brain injury. He died with Wilson crying at his hospital bedside.
Just when Wilson thought things couldn't get any worse for him, he ended up being forced to live with his father's parents. This was the time in Wilson's life he refers to as his "big old hell." Though his grandparents were elderly and not all that physically capable, they still managed to make Wilson's life a living hell. Their physical and mental abuse was severe. They would pull his hair and tail so hard he would bruise. They did everything they could to prevent him from finishing his homework. They would force him to cook for them nearly every night at 9:00 pm. They only let him sleep on a cot. They constantly yelled at and berated him for the most mundane reasons, often yelling in his ears when he was close to them. Worst of all, though, was the violent whipping with a leather purse strap, which left Wilson with large scars on the backs of his thighs and buttocks.
One day, something happened that was worse than anything Wilson had experienced in his life. One morning, his grandmother was making scrambled eggs, and he was pouring himself a glass of milk. The large carton slipped from his grasp, and his grandmother yelled when she saw the milk spill on her favorite kitchen rug. Outraged, and with a red hot iron weapon in her grasp, the old woman slammed the frying pan into the right side of Wilson's face. The metal right off the stove burned like hell, and Wilson screamed and writhed in pain. At that moment, all the pain and suffering he felt in his life began to manifest all at once. A newfound rage began to overcome his fragile spirit, and he felt his burned right eye blister with a painful, throbbing, heated pulse. After his anxiety calmed, Wilson made a life changing decision. With nothing but the clothes on his back, Wilson headed out the door of his grandparents' home and swore to never return.
That day, at the age of just 15, Wilson became homeless. He wandered around the streets and towns of Lotebirma stealing food and drinks to survive. All the while he had to deal with coldhearted people who did not care about his dire situation. All his requests for spare change were either ignored or resulted in insults and profanities. This caused a bitter, cold shell to envelope his heart. Even worse, for reasons unknown, Wilson seemed to have the ability to see the badness in people with his right eye. His grandmother's final attack with the red hot frying pan left him with a large burn scar and newfound, disturbing powers. With this ability to see and sense negative morality, Wilson was fully aware of the hostility and hatred around him. Happiness seemed like an impossibility for him.
However, one day, he met a kindhearted teen girl about his age that showed him the best, purest kindness he had experienced in years. Meeting this young woman gave Wilson the hope he needed to continue fighting on. For about a year, Wilson honed his unusual skills to steal what he needed to survive. In the process, he learned how to fight with the capoeira skills his father taught him. His use of his infamous skunk spray also proved to be a major advantage against his opponents. Even members of the SPOT Mob started to spread rumors of his fights and thefts.
One day, by the time Wilson turned 16, he had successfully fought and robbed two SPOT Mobbers of their money and food. Hiding in an alley to enjoy his stolen meal, Wilson was suddenly confronted by two men wearing fancy suits. The mysterious men said they were impressed with how Wilson handled the crooks, and told him of a place safe from the criminal gangs that ruled Lotebirma. They called the place Paradise Harbor. The once abandoned harbor that had been reborn into a sanctuary. Wilson, feeling he had nothing to lose, agreed to check the place out, and was given a map to find it. The map led Wilson in the Rank Forest. A place where nobody could be tracked due to the forest's pungent odor. There, he found an abandoned train tunnel and walked through it according to the map's instructions. Finally, he found an old abandoned train station and walked through a desolate street. Turning a corner on the map, he found something truly astonishing. An hidden town populated by kindhearted people right on the coast of the Sheekacrest Bay.
Once arriving, Wilson was led by more men in suits to a massive glass apartment complex called Homodon Estates. There, he discovered the harbor was owned by none other than Calvin "Cobra" O'Donnell, a well-known multibillionaire. Cobra explained to Wilson the harbor was built in order to gather hard working people to raise enough money to bring law enforcement back to Lotebirma and defeat the racist crooks that ruled it. Wilson, inspired by this newfound hope, swore he would do everything he could to make this plan a reality.
Eventually, three other young men close to Wilson's age with unusual skills came to the harbor. The four of them realized the potential of their abilities and formed an anti-criminal gang called Drift. They then began stealing money and valuables from the gangsters ruling Lotebirma. Robbing the bad for the greater good, the team is determined to weaken the criminal gangs and steal enough money to bring back law enforcement and end their atrocious reign.
Skills:
Wilson's most well-known capability is his flexibility, agility, and gymnastics skills. Cartwheels, summersaults, backflips, and high leaps are child's play for him. He can also fit into and move through tight, narrow places like air vents. Being light on his feet, sneaking is another valuable skill of his. He can also climb well.
In combat, Wilson is average in overall strength, but can be quite precise in his attacks. Always aiming for vulnerable spots like the head, face, neck, chest, and stomach. He also has impressive skills in the capoeira martial arts style. Using high kicks, and flips regularly in battle, he can dazzle and mystify opponents with his moves.
Being a skunk, Wilson is capable of spraying an unspeakably foul scent from beneath his tail. In a desperate situation, he would slightly drop his pants to spray the volatile liquid musk. His preferred method of using his skunk attack is using tiny balloons filled with his skunk musk. These stink bombs can clear out a room and cause panic in a matter of seconds.
Extras:
Wilson is an omnivore, but he prefers meat over vegetables.
He is a big fan of the Bad Cat franchise. A sort of adult, masculine version of Hello Kitty.
Wilson is nervous and uncomfortable around elderly people due to his grandparents' abuse.
He is very attached to his appearance and is ashamed of the burn scar he received from his grandmother's frying pan attack. He wears his long hair over the right side of his face to cover it.
Wilson's ability to see the evil in people and foresee troubling events is known as Dark Nature. A power brought by powerful negative emotions, great pain, and suffering.
