Nayana Coon

Role: Alan's lover. Protagonist

Species: Raccoon

Likes: Cooking, quiet places, picnics.

Dislikes: Her own weakness, mean tough guys.

Dream Job: Chef.

Skills: Great cook. Calming presence.

Personality:

Nayana is very sweet, compassionate, timid, and shy. At least, around most people. Towards people she trusts and knows well, she is more open and confident. Being physically weak, she runs away from conflict unless someone is there to protect her. Despite her safe instincts, she is not fond of her weaknesses.

Though she is emotionally and physically fragile, she does have enough strength to be fiercely against the bigotry the Natural Order preaches. She does not believe in the hierarchies and superior ideals they enforce and given the right situation, she will fight against them.

Story:

Life for Nayana was never easy growing up in Lotebirma. Being a raccoon, she was deemed inferior and forced into a mediocre part of society. What made things so much worse, though, was that her parents, being even more timid than her, actually grew to believe the bigoted ways the Natural Order and criminal gangs enforced. Despite being on the lower end of the hierarchy, her parents truly believed their place in the world was to serve those superior to them and accept their lowly standing in the world. As a result, they started working for the Black Manes. Cleaning up their crime scenes and doing humiliating favors such as body grooming and claw filing.

Fortunately, Nayana was mostly away from these demands and had little interaction with the Black Manes. Even if she did, though, her parents would never bother to protect her, believing it was her place to give into them.

One day, three Black Manes starved of sexual needs turned their sights on Nayana. Terrified of being assaulted, she fled for her life. Her run led her into a brush of trees. There, she heard something peculiar: a young man singing. Suddenly curious, she walked towards the singing and found a rough, tough teen she would soon fall deeply in love with. It was Alan Raybee. The six-and-a-half-foot tall rabbit boy with quite a bad reputation among the Black Manes.

Alan immediately spotted Nayana, but she did not run. The Black Manes suddenly found her and in desperation, she ran to Alan, hoping he would help her. To her utter amazement, the tall rabbit boy easily defeated the Black Manes. Afterwards, he asked her if she was ok. Immediately infatuated by his toughness and concern, Nayana thanked him.

After this first encounter, Alan and Nayana met up many more times, growing closer and closer. It was no surprise when the fragile raccoon girl developed romantic feelings for him. Wanting to be worthy of his love and protection, Nayana promised herself one day she will grow to be a much stronger person. One that would not be a total burden to the rabbit boy she adored.

Extras:

Nayana loves to cook and loves all kinds of food. She prefers vegetables over meat, but still loves it.
