Leoma often thanks Maya for being born nothing like her parents. She is kind, thoughtful, and empathetic towards all living things. She firmly believes in equality and wishes all people, no matter what their species, should get along. Overall, she is truly a kindhearted, good-natured soul.

Despite her kindness, Leoma has a deep disgust and hatred for coldhearted people. Especially bigots who believe in superiority ideals. Her distaste for those people is not the least bit limited to her family. She is not afraid to hate if she thinks someone deserves it.

Leoma is an impressive actress and can put on a fooling face in front of those around her that she can't stand. She developed a talent for it from having to do it her whole life in front of her parents. The only people in her life she has been truly genuine towards are her friends from her former town, her brother, Wilson, and Wilson's friends.

Story:

Leoma did not spend her early years in Lotebirma. She lived in a county far in another state close to the East coast. She loved her life there, having lots of friends and being treated with kindness by all those around her. At home, however, life was very different. Her parents were extreme bigots who deeply believed in superior ideals. They tried to ingrain their beliefs into Leoma and her older brother, Terrance, but being surrounded by so many good people kept their hearts clear of any discriminatory beliefs. Despite her parents forbidding her from being involved with those they saw as inferior, Leoma befriended and was kind to everyone.

One day, while out with her family something horrible happened that changed her life forever. A teen raccoon hybreed passed by Leoma's mom and accidentally bumped into her, knocking her purse from her grip. The raccoon boy apologized, but Leoma's mom went ballistic. She cursed at the young man for touching her, unleashing a merciless attack of insults and slurs. When the raccoon boy fought back by pushing her away, Leoma's mother, right in front of her family, grabbed the young man and threw him in the path of an oncoming bus. The boy was brutally run over right in front of a crowd of people. Police were called and Leoma's mom was immediately arrested.

It was later confirmed the raccoon boy died in the hospital, and Leoma's mom was charged with murder. Her father was furious, believing his wife did nothing wrong. That a superior had every right to kill an inferior if they were in the wrong. When Leoma's mom was put in prison for life, her father decided to have them move to Lotebirma. A place where he believed the law was right. A place where the superior ideals were law and balance between species was correct.

Leoma and her brother dreaded moving to such a horrid county full of such hatred and bigotry. There was nothing they could do, though. They had no other family to turn to and none of their friends could help.

Ever since moving to Lotebirma, Leoma grew to despise her parents. She swore no matter how the hate and bigotry would surround her, she would never become corrupt like them. Her brother, falling into depression, turned to weed for comfort. Though he was still kind and supportive towards her, he seemed to lose his motivation to have hopes and dreams.

Secretly, while enduring the disgust of those around her at school and her new neighborhood, Leoma helped those in need with cash donations and acts of kindness. It was the only thing she could do to keep from falling into despair.

On a rainy Spring afternoon, Leoma spotted a skunk boy around her age sitting on the ground by a fast-food restaurant. By the looks of his tattered clothes, Leoma guessed he was homeless. She was stunned by how attractive he was despite his poor condition. Wanting to do something nice for him, she went to a nearby deli and bought a turkey sandwich. Upon offering the skunk boy the food, the young man responded with distrust and anger. He furiously accused her of spiking the food with some sick drugs. Leoma proved to him it was a genuine show of kindness by taking a bite of the sandwich herself. Surprised, yet convinced, the skunk boy cautiously took a bite. He appeared delighted by the tasty, healthy meal.

Leoma, charmed by the black and white furred young man, introduced herself. She told him she was surprised and heartbroken to see someone close to her age suffering on the streets. The skunk boy gazed at her with eyes filled with shock and adoration. After a little more talk, he finally introduced himself as Wilson.

As time went by, Leoma and Wilson saw each other more often. Eventually, they fell in love. Upon learning of Wilson's alliance with an anti-criminal gang determined to bring law and equality back to Lotebirma, Wilson became Leoma's hero and new hope.

Nearly every night she would pray to Maya for Wilson and his allies to succeed in making Lotebirma a better place.

Extras:

Leoma's fur is mostly white because he mom's fur was mostly white. Not because of white tiger genes, but because her grandfather was a polar bear hybreed.

Leoma's last name is pronounced TIGG-ressa instead of TIE-gressa.

Being a carnivore, Leoma does not like vegetables but prefers dairy and eggs over meat overall. She loves yogurt and chicken noodle soup.
